Bulgogi

Serves: 9
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes, but you can prepare it ahead
2 lb sirloin tip roast, thinly sliced
10 Tbsp soy sauce
3 Tbsp white sugar
1/2 cup chopped green onion
4 Tbsp minced garlic
4 Tbsp sesame seeds
4 Tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp ground black pepper
Vegetable oil for greasing pan

Directions:
Place the beef in a ziploc. Add the rest of the ingredients to the bag. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

If you are grilling the beef, quickly grill it on a hot grill until slightly charred and cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
If you are cooking it in a skillet, pour in enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom. When the grease is hot, add enough beef to cover the bottom. When it browns on one side, flip the beef over and brown the other, making sure it is cooked through. It should take 4-7 minutes. Continue cooking a layer of beef at a time until you have cooked all of the meat.
You can pour the extra marinade into a saucepan and bring it to a boil for 5-10 minutes. Pour it over the meat to keep the meat moist.
You can keep it warm in a warm oven or a crockpot.
