Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:
1 Stick Butter
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Sugar
2 tsp Baking Powder
2/3 Cup Milk
1 Large Can (1 qt) Peaches Undrained

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Slice butter and melt in a 9x13 pan while oven is preheating.
Mic together flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk.
Pour batter evenly into melted, bubbling butter. Pour peaches with juice over mixture.
Bake until brown - about 30 minutes.

If using fresh peaches, combine in a bowl
5 peaches , peeled, cored and sliced (about 4 cups)
3/4 cup granulated sugar

  1. I made this with frozen blueberries. It was very good, but personally I like the peach a little better.
    I used 3/4 cup milk (because you aren't adding the peach juice) and combined about 1/3 cup sugar with the blueberries before adding them. If the blueberries are super sweet, you wouldn't need to add as much sugar. I used blueberries straight from the freezer, but I think it took away from the bubbling, buttery crust effect a bit. It might work better to let the blueberries warm up some before adding them.
