1 cup baking apples peeled and sliced1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp flour
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
3 sheets phyllo dough
2 tbsp butter
Preheat oven to 375 cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine apples, sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg and set aside. Generously brush one sheet of phyllo dough with butter and place another sheet on top. Cut into 4 squares and place a spoonful of apple filling in the center of each square. Gather the corners together to make a "pouch" and place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Serve warm.
