French Toast

Makes: 6 large or 8 small pieces of French Toast
Time: 5-10 min prep, 10 min to cook each batch on griddle

Ingredients:
2/3 cup whole milk, half-and-half, or heavy cream
4 large eggs
2 Tbsp sugar or pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

6 slices of bread (8 if you are using a smaller type of bread like french bread.)
Preheat electric griddle (or frying pan).
In a shallow bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the bread.
One or two at a time, add the bread slices.
Turn the slices in the egg mixture until thoroughly saturated but not falling apart.
Place the slices on the griddle and cook until the underside is golden brown. Turn the bread and cook until the second side is golden.
Serve immediately or keep warm in the oven or a crockpot.
